About Event

Series Seed is hosting an intimate dinner with Jeffrey Lonsdale, an investor and trader whose career spans the entire capital stack — from the trading desk to the cap table. Jeff started at Palantir Technologies on Palantir Finance, then spent four years as VP of Research and Trading at Clarium Capital Management, Peter Thiel's global macro hedge fund. He went on to run a portfolio at Cabezon Investment Group before joining Founders Fund as Managing Director, Asia, and later advising Bridgetown SPAC on taking late-stage Southeast Asian companies public. Across quant trading, hedge funds, venture capital, and public markets, he has seen how capital is really made, moved, and allocated. This dinner is for a small group of young founders and early-career professionals who want to understand how the investing world actually works — and how to think like the person on the other side of the table. Over dinner, Jeff will share how he built a non-linear career across finance and venture, what separates a trader's mindset from an investor's, how professional investors evaluate ideas and people, and practical advice for anyone trying to break into investing or raise venture capital. Seats are limited. Reserve your spot early.
